Bear and Penguin Play Chew Man Fu (Episode 1)
The Chums' delightful debut

As we all know, bears and penguins love to play video games. In this new video series, we follow the adventures of a couple of chums who may not share the same tastes, but they definitely both love gaming.

In this debut episode, Bear and Penguin play the TurboGrafx-16 hidden gem Chew Man Fu. However, Bear doesn't have a TurboGrafx so they play the Wii Virtual Console version instead. Anyway, the game tells the story of a maniacal madman who wants to rid the land of delicious Chinese food. You and a pal play as two little girls who might have what it takes to put an end to his dastardly plan. Its simple gameplay involves rolling coloured spheres around mazes to eventually place them on their corresponding buttons while avoiding a handful of roaming enemies. Thankfully, these girls are able to kick the spheres into their foes to temporarily boot them out of the stage. It's perfect for on-the-couch cooperative multiplayer gaming. That is, if both players are willing to cooperate, but I have a feeling that Penguin may not be up to the task.
