The Terminator, Lego, and Keanu
First off, Microsoft's press conference revealed some surprising couples: The Terminator in Gears 5, Lego in Forza Horizon 4, Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077, and George R. R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki are teaming up for the upcoming action RPG Elden Ring. If that's not enough, a new Xbox is due to release in late 2020 which is codenamed Project Scarlett. Other noteworthy games on the horizon include Ninja Theory's Bleeding Edge, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which includes all 9 episodes, Tales of Arise, a brand new Battletoads game, Psychonauts 2 which seems insane, and an impressive-looking new Microsoft Flight Simulator game. Oh, and Minecraft Dungeons actually seems like a very fun co-op game based on the popular franchise.
Breath of the Wild 2 and more
Nintendo Direct's E3 show highlighted a collection of promising titles and unexpected collaborations. The big games coming down the road include Luigi's Mansion 3, a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games which marks the franchise's long-awaited return, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Astral Chain which looks phenomenal, Pokémon Sword and Shield, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and, last but not least, a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
A few surprise games even released shortly after the show including Cadence of Hyrule, Collection of Mana (along with a Seiken Densetsu 3 remake named Trials of Mana being announced), and Contra Anniversary Collection (with a Contra: Rogue Corps announcement). On top of all this, there's plenty of content for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the way such as a collection of characters from the Dragon Quest series as well as Banjo-Kazooie. A few more niche games include a reboot of the classic Panzer Dragoon series, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics which is based on the upcoming Netflix show.

Well, that about does it for the notable games showcased at E3 2019. Which games are you most looking forward to? Were there any games shown that you're interested in that I didn't mention here? Let's chat below!
