Nuclear Throne is one of those games that appeals to a very specific group of old-school gamers and those who love it, will love it a lot.

Nuclear Throne is a roguelike twin-stick shooter where you play as a selection of mutated creatures while trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. What makes it special is just how much variety there is on display whether it's through weapons, upgrades, or enemies and when you discover nifty features such as how the walls are destructible; you'll be blown away by the possibilities. v1d30chumz 3-237-29-69
I first played Nuclear Throne back in 2016 and I'm very happy that it's now on Game Pass as more gamers can enjoy the twin-stick thrills that it offers. However, if you're the kind of gamer who gets easily frustrated with games then it may not be for you because the difficulty is super-high and not only that; there's also a sense of randomness to it all that can frankly feel unfair at times.Nuclear Throne Review
With that being said, unlocking more characters and making it further and further on your quest to claim the Nuclear Throne is great fun. Along the way, you'll encounter an assortment of bosses and the achievements actually tie in with them in a clever way as you earn them by defeating certain bosses as specific characters so getting all of the achievements will take a good chunk of time and effort.
Another aspect that I appreciate about Nuclear Throne is its audio as all of the effects sound like they were made with someone's mouth. It's very squishy-sounding and weird at first but it goes hand-in-hand perfectly with the absurd mutant-infested game world. The graphics are nice and detailed, too, with their pixel aesthetic although they aren't quite amazing or unique, especially in 2022.
Well, there you have it; if you're looking for a Game Pass title that'll put your twin-stick shooting skills to the test then Nuclear Throne will certainly offer you a good time. The question is: do you have what it takes to unlock everything and get all of the achievements?
