Kirby's very first 3D adventure is releasing for Switch soon and my chum and I had a chance to play it and it's great so let's check it out.

Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee are here to save the day

I've been a Kirby fan even since the pink puffball's Game Boy debut and now that there's finally a 3D platformer in the long-running series, I'm one happy bear. Although I was expecting a fun-filled and carefree good time and Kirby and the Forgotten Land provides just that, the fact that it features simultaneous cooperative multiplayer for 2 gaming chums to enjoy together is what has me most excited for carrying on with this delightful Kirby adventure. Essentially, one player controls Kirby while the other fills the adorable shoes of Bandana Waddle Dee. Although Kirby has the coolest moves including the new Mouthful Mode that lets you control giant objects, Bandana Waddle Dee is no slouch as you can throw spears at enemies as you run and jump around environments and they pack quite the punch. 👊 v1d30chumz 3-238-199-4

Not only is the gameplay more fun with a friend, there are many super-cute presentational qualities about Kirby and the Forgotten Land that especially pop during co-op play. For starters, you can high-five each other which we did a few times although I'm not entirely sure what triggers it but it's adorable nonetheless. One of the main goals is to rescue Waddle Dees and I'm very happy that both players are equally capable of discovering and collecting them complete with their own unique and lovely animations. Speaking of which, watching the cuties fly around on a star together only to see them turn around and wave at the camera will melt any fan's heart. ❤️

I plan on playing the entirety of Kirby and the Forgotten Land with my gaming chum but rest assured that it's still a great deal of fun to go it alone as having a co-op partner merely throws a second player into the mix without changing any of the core gameplay. No matter how you play, it'll be great fun discovering and playing around with Kirby's transformations as you trek through the intricate stages while discovering the odd secret here and there. Plus, watching everyone dance at the end of each level makes for a wonderful reward whether you're playing solo or with a friend. In other words, you're in for one adorable treat no matter how you play. 🍰
