There's something oddly satisfying about destroying a room full of objects so if that sounds appealing to you then here's Dangerous Golf.

Dangerous Golf is available with at least a PlayStation Plus Extra subscription (Essential < Extra < Premium). ➕

There are a lot of valuables in this room and I'm gonna wreck it!

If you've been gaming for as long as I have then you're probably familiar with the Burnout series and remember its aftertouch mechanic where you can explode your car after a wreck to cause incredible chaos on the road as you watch cars get snagged in the mayhem. Well, Dangerous Golf follows that formula almost exactly albeit with a golf ball instead of a race car. Your goal is to simply smash as many things as you can before sinking a putt and the challenge is all about scoring as many points as possible. Sounds fun, right? It is! 😄 v1d30chumz 35-172-230-154

The basic gameplay loop of Dangerous Golf involves teeing off where you aim then smacking the ball into as many objects as you can. After that, if you fill your gauge enough, you can unleash a SmashBreaker which allows you to freely control your ball mid-air as it soars around the room while bouncing off walls and destroying everything it touches. There are additional mechanics such as SmashDown bonuses which task you with hitting certain objects for a substantial score boost and you can also deflect the ball before sinking a putt. ⛳

One thing that I enjoy about Dangerous Golf is its attention to detail. There are oodles of easter eggs and fun treats to observe such as how you can smash the ball into the camera when it's time to putt and there are plenty of clever SmashDown bonuses that gave me a chuckle, too. Its visuals are excellent to boot with detailed environments that are full of clutter and they even take place in different real-world countries including France, United States, Australia, and England. Hey, how come there's no Canada? 🍁

There is a ton of content to master in Dangerous Golf and on top of the single player campaign where you can earn medals on 100 stages, there's a co-op mode as well as a party mode for competitive fun with up to 4 players. You can play online, too, although I couldn't find anyone else to play with when I tried over the past few days which is probably because Dangerous Golf originally released back in 2016. Anyway, the amount of content is superb and will have you smashing things up for hours upon hours. 💥

Things are getting rather saucy in the kitchen

Dangerous Golf is a cathartic and over-the-top game that makes destruction fun so if you're signed up to PlayStation Plus Extra then definitely give it a go and let me know in the comments below what you think of this ridiculous game. 😊
