August 7, 2016 - Although Marvel Ultimate Alliance has been around for nearly a decade and found its way to plenty of consoles, I have never played it. Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy the most recent iteration of the original and its sequel (thanks to Activision) so here's my take on these two cooperative hero-filled adventures.

A long-time fan's perspective
May 2, 2016 - I went to see Ratchet & Clank at the theatre over the weekend and I must say; I had a good time. As a fan since the original game debuted back in 2002, it was great to finally see my favourite Lombax on the big screen.

An improbable yet intriguing ensemble
June 19, 2015 - It's almost inevitable that the newly announced remake of Final Fantasy VII will include voice actors. Considering no one has any idea who they'll be, I thought I would share who I think would be perfect for the job. Of course, I'm being creative and pretending like the game will be completely recast even though the cast of Advent Children was superb. It's all in good fun. Anyway, my dream team may be unrealistic, but I'm looking forward to Square Enix doing a great job of giving new life to their characters in this long-awaited remake.

Paying my respects to Erdrick
May 21, 2015 - We haven't seen a new mainstream Dragon Quest game in North America in over five years, with the latest being Dragon Quest IX released for DS in 2009. Sadly, Dragon Quest X still hasn't made its way outside of Japan. All I can do now is replay the old ones to remind myself of what a great franchise Dragon Quest is. The following are reasons why I just can't get enough.
