Zenith Review

Zenith Review (PlayStation 4)

A comedy of errors

September 20, 2016 - I was quite looking forward to playing Zenith. At first glance, it looked like it might be something along the lines of a Baldur's Gate or Dungeon Siege. Boy, was I in for a disappointment.

Solar Shifter EX Review

Solar Shifter EX Review (Xbox One)

A piece of shift

September 1, 2016 - The classic shoot 'em up formula is hard to screw up. All you need is solid gameplay and over-the-top action and there you go; a decent shmup is born. So, where did Solar Shifter EX go so horribly wrong?

Super Robo Mouse Review

Super Robo Mouse Review (Wii U)

Don't eat the titanium cheese

April 8, 2016 - It's hard to know what to think of a game called Super Robo Mouse. Do you play as a robotic mouse with a cape who tries to save the world? No. That actually might have been pretty cool.

Wild Gunman Review

Wild Gunman Review (NES)

Gunfight at the less than O.K. Corral

January 9, 2016 - The NES Zapper saw over a dozen compatible games back in its day. As a console launch title, does Wild Gunman still hold up or is it nothing more than a baby's toy? You do have to use your hands, after all...

Color Bombs Review

Color Bombs Review (Wii U)

It definitely bombs, that's for sure

October 31, 2015 - Nothing shows lack of creativity more than copying someone else's ideas. Every Extend Extra came out almost ten years ago and it was a pretty fun game, so why the heck would anyone take the effort to create an awful variation of it in 2015?

Pixel Slime U Review

Pixel Slime U Review (Wii U)

In Soviet Russia, pixel slime you!

August 31, 2015 - It seems like the Wii U eShop is gathering a collection of bad games comparable to LJN's NES library. In comes Pixel Slime and his one-note high score chaser that'll keep you mildly entertained (and slightly irritated) for an hour tops.

Don't Crash Review

Don't Crash Review (Wii U)

A game so tedious that you would actually want it to crash

July 11, 2015 - The Wii U eShop has more than its fair share of subpar games. It saddens me to say that Don't Crash is yet another title that gives Nintendo's downloadable library a bad name. If you're still interested then let's take this lemon on a test drive.

Sumico Review

Sumico Review (3DS)

Grade three math homework: the video game

February 3, 2015 - If you've ever wanted to take simple math equations to the next level then here's a game for you. Sumico combines math with path-drawing puzzle mechanics to make one intriguing game. But, does it add up to warrant your undivided attention?

Toss N Go Review

Toss N Go Review (Wii U)

You'll probably want to toss this game in the trash n go

January 2, 2015 - It takes a lot for a game solely based on chance to actually be fun and although Toss N Go tries to be, it's simply not. Rolling dice could be a good time if you use them to move around a game board or calculate the damage that your wizard's fire spell will do but rolling dice for the sake of rolling dice just doesn't quite cut the mustard.

Heptrix Review

Heptrix Review (Wii U)

The game that would make Alexey Pajitnov regret creating Tetris

December 1, 2014 - Have you ever played Tetris and wondered if it would be better with bigger pieces? Of course you haven't. Heptrix takes the classic Tetris formula and uses pieces that have seven blocks instead of four. Why does it do this? Who cares? It's a terrible idea which resulted in an even more terrible game.
