June 13, 2015 - When it comes to the arcade, Namco was always ahead of the game. Considering they were released for almost every console over the years, you know there are plenty of obscurities to explore. If you're ready, strap on your fanny pack. We're going back to the '80s!

April 20, 2015 - Sony's PSP had a vast library of titles targeted towards retro gamers. Here, I take a look at ten fantastic remakes of classic games. February 22, 2015 - If there's a single genre that stands out on the Vita, it's JRPGs. On this day three years ago, the PlayStation Vita was widely released in North America and I wrote this list to mark the occasion. So, slip into some comfortable cosplay and enjoy this look back at ten incredibly fantastical stories of slaying demons and saving the world. As a side note, strategy games aren't included in this list (sorry, Disgaea).

Revisiting the dawn of downloadables
February 15, 2015 - Xbox 360 changed the way console gamers get their fix by introducing Xbox Live Arcade games to the mainstream. Sure, the original Xbox had a rudimentary online store that was launched via a mail-order disc, but Xbox 360 made it easy by integrating a Marketplace into the user interface. Believe it or not, its decade anniversary is this year and I made this list to celebrate. Each game featured here was released within the first couple years and although there are a few remakes, you won't find any direct ports (sorry, Symphony of the Night). Anyway, let's reminisce about a time when digitally distributed console games were fresh and exciting.

Check your back catalogue, Nintendo
December 16, 2014 - The Nintendo GameCube has a fantastic library of games and quite a lot of them haven't seen the light of day since. This article lists ten games and series that started and unfortunately ended on the GameCube. Therefore, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron doesn't count (since it started on Nintendo 64) and neither does Metroid Prime (since it has a sequel on Wii). Anyway, I hope you enjoy this list of long-gone but not forgotten GameCube exclusives that definitely deserve sequels.

To honour the occasion, I put together this list of the best download only games that have been released since launch. Be sure to check out last week's PlayStation 4 list since it may include some Xbox One games that didn't quite make this list.
